Knock sensor....

I have an obd2a cx harness running a gsr swap with obd2b b16 ecu...

I swear i did everything right (repinned vtec, oil pressure, and crank sensor) but i have one and only check engine light, the knock sensor.. it is a 2 wire on the block.

Does it matter which wire is in which pin?

Is there a way to bypass?
Or should i just suck it up until i get my rywire harness.in a month?

Motor runs great. No oil light, no smoke, no ticking, no knocking, Vtec pulls good..

I remember I while back some dude made a circuit to fool the ecu. I'll look for it.

I'll also look at the oem wiring diagrams and see how its wired.

Can you name them all?

Why don't you temporarily run a wire from the KS to the ecu and see how that turns out, if no more CEL's then you know you previously wired it wrong.

We're you doing it with the corresponding manuals to see where the pins go?

Are you sure you're wiring the knock sensor because it's only one wire, not two.

I have the thermostat plugged in. Its too short right next to the ground on the housing. Maybe i should unplug that one thing and wait till i get my harness. This check engine light bugs me though lol.
Second look at the y7 maybe i plugged my ckf in there. Lmao...

vtec would not be working if the ecu is throwing code for knock sensor

what ecu are you running?

Ok im guessing vtec worked before it recognized and threw the code..

I figured out i was using a 2 pin connector and had the wire in the wrong side so it wasnt touching the sensor pin.. all fixed now just went and hit vtec a couple times to make sure
