HOW TO USE A GIF AS AN AVATAR
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ok so you want to use a animated .gif image as your avatar but dont know how? Well ill show you how right here!
Example 1
51382
First thing you need to notice, as pointed out in red, is that you cant have a gif if it goes over this small request of 120 by 120 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller).
Example 2
51387
Ok so lets take a look at this further so we can see the difference in gif sizes and to what we can use as our avatar.
We will go ahead and check out the "happy negro gif" to see if it meets azhts size requirements.
So what we are going to do is right click on the gif that you want on your computer it should come up with a menu. Somewhere on this menu it should say properties, lets choose that. (RIGHT CLICK, PROPERTIES)
Example 3
51388
Its unfortunate :'(
from the properties window, as outlined in red, it says the gif is 312kb, wayyy over the 19kb azht guideline avatar limit.
So that means we cannot use the happy negro gif :-(
Wait-wait lost_sol, I just had a epiphany, what if this some how worked although its wayy over the 19kb guide line?
Well, lets try it...
Example 4
51386
As you can see, if it doesn't give you an error you will most likely get a picture that is NOT animated.
So lets take a look at another gif. I will go ahead and check out the dancing sauske gif posted earlier next to happy negro.
Example 5
51389
Yes! =)
from the properties window, as outlined in red, it says the Dancing Sauske gif is 8.4kb, well within the 19kb azht guideline avatar limit.
So that means we can use the dancing sauske gif :-)
Example 6

After uploading the Dancing Sauske gif, you can see it works. ...dancing and all in an animated fashion.
Congrats on completing the tutorial
