Driver of the EVO obv. could not drive let alone down shift!! They are only slow on a roll from 55 and above if it was stock! Oh well, good kill for the civic!

I've driven a stock EVO 8 and I also drove a 06 si with hondata reflash, injen cai and greddy cat back and dude the civic was slow. The EVO would win hands down.

Those new si's aren't fast, I dunno what kids think of them. I guess I'm just used to driving a car with torque.

no one is getting brave well im not. never did i say i will kill a evo or say my car was faster than an evo. the two cars dont even compare boost vs n/a 197 vs 275 or what ever they are. but i also dont think you would walk me from a roll so go ahead and get all puffed up about it i can care less if i win or loose. i know what i should and shouldnt beat. i think it would be a good race. but trust me if the fg2s or dc5s were boosted they would be faster than an evo. i guess we will just have to do it and find out

I know bro, it's all in fun though. Just talking shit. A race wouldn't be any fun if no one did. And, I know the potential of turbo'd honda motors cuz hell, i still got my civic and i really don't want to let it go but the needs of the family outweigh the needs of my civic. I've owned my civic since 99' and if I put half as much money into the evo as I did into the civic over the years, i'd be twice as fast. Hope to see you @ the track sometime.................(SIEVO)
